Hello, hello. Not many people will be quoting Gary Glitter, and they will not be quoting him with good reason. But you don't come here for what you can get elsewhere, do you?
OK - which I now am again, following a disagreeable dose of 'flu or flu-like' (hallucinations and all) - so a lot has been happening. Firstly, a big financial surplus has been created: £2 billion, on current estimates. The DH's figures in response to the Health Select Committee's questions reveal a capital underspend of £2 billion, some of which represents proposed downscaling of PFI projects.
